RAD Remedy Projects
- RAD (Referral Aggregator Database)
RAD is a comprehensive and nationally-collaborative database currently in Beta mode that uses the referral lists of trusted community organizations and the detailed reviews of folks like you so we all get better care.
- Dr. RAD's Super Sparkly Super Splendid Very Queer Health Show!
We are partnering with radical illustrator Isabella Rotman to release a series of health guides about self-exams, PrEP, hormone options, etc. They will be made available for patients and providers alike, in print and online.
Our first issue about self exams and checkups is available now! Check it out!
- Remedy on Demand
RAD Remedy offers robust, judgment-free consulting to organizations and providers in order to improve their cultural competency according to CLAS and community standards by honing forms, systems, and practices. We work to ensure their services are accessible, affirming, and comprehensive, specifically with regard to trans, gender non-conforming, intersex, and queer communities.
Fees are sliding, based on organizational revenue. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Possible projects include:
- Creating accessible forms
- Improving feedback processes
- Ensuring a welcoming environment
- ...and more!
Our consulting method and projects are customized for each provider or organization through completing our assessment and learning provider/organization-stated goals, so we have solutions available for every budget and every concern. No project too big or too small. Contact us at email@example.com to get started today.
- National Standards for TGIQ Health (Early 2017):
Based on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services CLAS standards (National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health and Health Care) and adapted for our communities, these will establish community-driven best practices and competencies for providers to meet.
- RAD Certified
We will have providers of various sorts provide evidence of continuing education they've completed on topics related to our community, and in turn, we provide a special badge for them on the database and optimized search results for you.
- Provider Competency Project
We will assemble an independent, nationwide training database mapping trainings to competencies, creating a learning structure for providers and identifying gaps in existing training.
- Translation Project
We will have the site, database, and materials translated into as many languages as possible.
- Expansion to Additional Countries
We hope to expand into other countries through collaboration with local organizations and adaptation of the RAD model as needed to better serve systems of health outside the US.
