Freeman Medical Clinic
We don't have a description for this provider yet. Can you help?
Been going here for HRT for almost 2 years. The staff is very nice and respectful. Georgeanne is very encouraging and helpful. She is very interested in building resources for her patients. She gives a packet of local resource info to all her new trans patients and has partnerships with local therapists and Dr Crane's surgical group in Austin.
I have been seeing Dr. Freeman as my primary care and for HRT for about a year now. She has always been kind and accepting and the staff has been great. They even have an useful information packet with Trans friendly resources that they give you when you disclose. When I disclosed to her, she immediately asked me how I would like to be called and sent a message to the front desk. By the time we were done talking, everyone on the staff was without exception calling me by my name and referring to me properly. I have experienced no discomfort even very early in my transition. They have been instrumental in my transition and have been great friends and allies.
I've been getting hormone replacement therapy from Dr. Freeman's clinic for over a year and a half now. While there has been the occasional pronoun or dead name slip, the staff at this clinic are honestly kind and wonderful people, who are very interested in helping me through my transition. They have varying hours and have walk-in appointments, perfect for anyone with a constantly-changing schedule. If you're living in downtown Austin and have not yet started HRT, or are moving here and need to continue your prescription, don't hesitate to give Dr. Freeman a call.
