Angela Hartman, Psy.D.
I am a licensed psychologist with over 10 years experience providing psychological services in a number of settings including Private Practice, University Counseling Centers, Community Mental Health, and Employee-Assistance Programs. I received my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Wright State University School of Professional Psychology and completed my Predoctoral Internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center. After graduating with my doctorate, I served as the Multicultural Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Houston Counseling and Psychology Services.
My graduate training emphasized multicultural awareness and this focus has continued through my work to date. I have experience working with diverse populations, including sexual minorities, racial/ethnic minorities, religious minorities, persons with disabilities, etc. Not only am I experienced and comfortable working with diverse populations, but I am very passionate about and greatly enjoy this work. I am an LGBTQ-affirmative and sex positive therapist.
I have had only the best experience with Dr. Hartman. She is friendly, caring, wise, well-read and experienced, and completely non-judgmental.
