I've been seeing Dr. Inker since 2008 for both hormones and primary care, and she is just fantastic, full stop. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about trans health, but she's an exceptionally good primary care provider: she's warm, funny, compassionate, takes her time, and truly listens to her patients. Several of my friends see her as well and I haven't heard a thing that's less than stellar. The Community Health Center itself is large and quite busy, but has expanded significantly over the past few years -- the facility is much nicer and the wait times have gotten much shorter. (The Thursday morning trans clinic at the Pearl Street Youth Center is quieter and tends to have a shorter wait.) I've never had trouble getting a prompt appointment with Dr. Inker or reaching her via email between appointments. Seriously, everyone should have a doctor like this.

Dr. Inker is widely known throughout Vermont as a fabulous general practice Doctor with a specialty in trans/queer health care. She is the most caring, wonderful Dr. I've ever seen, and I personally commute over an hour to see her. Highly recommend her for anyone on the LGBTQI spectrum, and especially anyone looking for trans, gender-queer or other gender related healthcare. In addition to my own personal experience, I know many others who see Dr. Inker and I've never heard anything but a glowing report. If you are in Vermont and looking for safe, reliable, affirming health care, you can't go wrong with Dr. Inker.
