The staff were amazing, super respectful and friendly. Dr. Woodworth himself was great medically, and met my minimum expectations; he prescribed me Estrogen on first visit with no problems. I wish he was a bit more forthcoming with my questions about pursuing an AA beyond the SHBG increasing effects of E alone, but I have a complex endocrinological issues beyond just transgender HRT. I had to drive 6 hours to get to his clinic and he was very understanding regarding blood work and return visits.

Warning; He likes to interject his political and socioeconomic opinions in between medical things, but he was polite and friendly about it. I hold very different political beliefs from him so I just smiled, nodded, and stayed flexible conversationally. Here's a detailed writup I did of the visit for those interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/asktransgender/comments/4njiis/detailed_recount_of_hrt_appointment_apirus/

Dr. Woodworth gave myself, and local friends, hormones at the first visit with no trouble. Just mention that you are transgender looking for hormone replacement therapy when you make the appointment. He also works around insurance policies to get hormones covered. He can be a little odd to deal with, but will give you what you need.
