Rania Ampey, LPC, NCC, graduated from Western Michigan University in 2000 with a Master's degree in Community Agency Counseling. She has been practicing as a Counselor for the past fifteen years. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and seniors. She has provided therapy services for a wide variety of mental and behavioral health issues including; anxiety, depression, addiction, mood disorders, relationship issues and stress management.

Rania especially enjoys working with transgender and gender-variant children and teens. She is passionate about helping them discover and express the uniqueness of their identities. She understands that courage and bravery are essential for a child to express their inner truth. She focuses on assisting her client's in attaining these qualities. Another principal goal is to provide education for parents that will allow them to influence their child's life in a positive way.
