I specialize in working with individuals and their loved ones who seek support in navigating the challenges presented by Gender, Transgender, Intersex, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Asexual identity. I also work with clients dealing with Bullying and Oppression, Depression, Anxiety, and Suicidal Ideation. I utilize a combination of Strengths-Based Perspective and Mindfulness Based Approach during Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I follow the WPATH and NASW Code of Ethics. I provide clients with a safe-space to come-out to the people who are close to them; providing assistance and guidance with this process.
Improving others' lives, and helping them overcome the challenges associated with their sexual orientation or gender identity are my goals as a Clinical Social Worker. I strive to guide clients through one of the most critical times of their life. I write Letters for Hormone Replacement Therapy & Gender Confirmation Surgeries.
My role as a Social Worker is to help clients find the direction and resources they desire to reach self-sufficiency, so they can reach their true potential.
I went to his support group for trans men a few times. Overall good experience, nice guy, and very accepting and supportive of LGBTQ identities.
