Bart is an excellent and caring mental health provider. He works mostly within the LGBTQIA community and that experience informs his practice. Not only does Bart respect the identities of his clients but he goes out of his way to make sure the staff in the clinic do the same. He focuses on building relationships with clients and creating a safe, comfortable space. Appointments with him are open, honest and casual. Due to the demand for mental health providers in the GHC network, he is frequently booked out for a month or more. After the intake appointment, though, he will do everything possible to make space for timely follow-ups. The clinic location can be difficult to get to without a car. There is one bus route that services that area and it sometimes runs only once every other hour.
