I joined Intown Primary Care as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012. My clinical interests include: Transgender Health, HIV care, including prevention of HIV, and Public Policy.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in 2006. After working in Emergency Medicine,I realized there was a huge need for primary care providers and decided to pursue my dream by enrolling in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Georgia State University. I graduated in May 2012 and continue to help nurse practitioner students by serving as a regular preceptor and guest speaker at the Emory University School of Nursing. My professional goals include educating and growing a community of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender-friendly health providers in Atlanta. The importance of gender affirming care for all is at the core of my theory of practice.
